Shri U K Bhattacharya, Director (Projects), NTPC Ltd. chaired Industry Automation & Control Conference on 10.06.2022 organised by Chemtech Foundation at JIO World Convention Centre, Mumbai. Theme of the conference was Industry 5.0: Envisioning New Paradigms in Automation.

In his address Shri Bhattacharya emphasized on relevance of tapping unlimited potential of Industry 5.0 with eyes on Industry 6.0. He stressed on considering Indian context and human centric approach so as to bring out the best for the cause of civilization and environment using Industry 5.0. 

Conference was also addressed by Dr Venkitakrishnan PV, Distinguished Scientist & Director (Retd.), Prof Satish Dhawan Scientist, ISRO HQ, Dr T V Sreekumar, Director, Bombay Textiles Research Association Ltd, Shri S K Handa, Director (Projects), Engineers India Ltd. and Shri K Nandakumar, CMD, Chemtrols Industries Pvt Ltd.

Shri M K Shrivastava, Executive Director-Engineering, NTPC Ltd. chaired the session "The seeds for Hyperautomation” in Conference.

Shri Sujeet Kumar Choubey, CC-EOC, presented on Power Industry Experience- NTPC Project Pradip in Session “Leveraging Automation for Race to Net Zero”.
